Mass Raja Raviteja who once used to be the most bankable hero and enjoyed huge fan following among masses, of late has been getting shocks at the box office. His recent films like Touch Chesi Choodu, Nela Ticket and Amar Akbar Antony bombed at the box office. His current situation is putting question marks on his career.
Raviteja is now teaming up with creative director VI Anand who attracted all with his films Ekkadiki Potavu Chinnavaada and Okka Kshanam. The film is tentatively titled in an attractive and crazy manner as Disco Raja and Raviteja will be seen romancing hotties Payal Rajput of RX100 fame and Nabha Natesh of Nannu Dochukunduvate fame.
Raviteja is rumored to be playing dual roles in the film. In the meantime surprising news is coming that Raviteja’s Disco Raja has the period backdrop and the film has 1980s environment. Buzz is the entire story is set in the 80s and Raviteja will be seen in complete retro outlook.
Post Rangasthalam, period films have become a new trend in Tollywood. Sharwanand-Sudheer Varma’s untitled film and Prabhas’s film in Radha Krishna Kumar are also periodic entertainers.
