After the frenzy of Independence Day weekend at the box office shared abnormally by three films, here comes August last weekend which is also going to be very busy at Telugu Box Office.
Taking the long weekend advantage as well Vinayaka Chaviti falls on Friday; nearly four films have hit their eyes on spot.
Pellichoopulu hero Vijay Devarakonda’s intense youth drama Arjun Reddy has already locked its date at 25th August.
There is Nara Rohit and Naga Shourya’s much-delayed film Kathalo Rajakumari lso releasing the same day. As Vijay Devarakonda, Nara Rohit and Naga Shourya desperately need a hit; they have to deliver this time.
Competing with these two Telugu films are two other dubbing films trying their luck that weekend.
Thala Ajith’s Vivekam is going to see the light on 24th while Dhanush’s VIP 2 will be hitting the screens on 25th. VIP 2 has already released in Tamil Nadu for weak talk and decent revenues. Vivekam will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.
It has to be seen which of these four films will have the final laugh at Box Office.
