While working with Ramcharan on ‘Dhruva,’ director Surender Reddy seems to have developed a close bond with Mega family. His sincere hard work and technical passion is manifested in all the past flicks. This time, Surender got a challenge to remake ‘Thani Oruvan’ and it wasn’t easy for a man with original creative thoughts.
‘I will never commit for a remake in future because re-working on a proven hit script is a tough task. Adding our creative sense to a known screenplay format is very hard. Yet, I enjoyed working on ‘Dhruva’ because it’s a new challenge. Coming to my next film, although I had the offer of directing Nikhil Gowda, I kept it aside. There are discussions in progress for a film with Chiranjeevi garu. As of now, I am waiting for ‘Dhruva’ release,’ Surender Reddy informed.
‘Dhruva’ hitting the screens on December 9th is a taut action thriller. If Surender Reddy comes up with a new thought, definitely Chiranjeevi will be his next hero to deal with.
