Big controversy broke out when veteran director A Kodandarami Reddy spoke on Chiranjeevi’s 150th film at a recently held event in Vijayawada. Mega Fans took to social networking sites questioning and defaming AKR for the loose tongue. ‘Nobody is ready to watch Chiranjeevi if he delivers social messages in 150th film. I would prefer a comedy subject for him because his body language is full of comedy,’ AKR said at the event.
However, AKR appears to have faced the heat from Mega Fans. He came before media and rendered the apologies.
‘I sincerely feel sorry for what I have spoken. I do not know how but I slipped the words in a flow. God promise, I was not aware of what I was telling. I made many super hit films with Chiranjeevi and we both share a beautiful bond till today. I am not a god to decide about hits and flops. Who am I to comment on success and failure of a film in any genre? I committed a mistake by speaking wrongly. In front of media friends, I request Chiranjeevi, Ramcharan, VV Vinayak and Fans to excuse me,’ said AKR.
