The glorious career of Anushka is taking big leap forward with each film. It has been a boon for Sweety to be blessed with awesome projects like ‘Arundathi, Bahubali, Varna, Rudhramadevi’ and so on. Currently, Anushka is waiting for the release of ‘Size Zero’ and we all knew the amount of hard work and physical strain she has undergone to portray the central obese character.
From a Yoga teacher who used to work in Bangalore and Mumbai, she has passed through a big transition to emerge as super star of South cinema balancing the performance and glamour based characters so easily. ‘I have to thank Shyam Prasad Reddy garu and my mother first because, it was they two who first told me that I pulled off royal look in ‘Arundathi’ so well. I am surprised when people tell me, I look like a queen.
My mother is first responsible for all this to happen. She loves historical subjects a lot and always wanted to see me in those characters. Now that I’ve done ‘Rudhramadevi, Arundathi’ and ‘Bahubali’ is on the way, my mother’s thoughts are getting translated into films,’ Anushka says. So, she is a queen from her mother…!
