Reel life Tiger like celebrities are here to save the real Tiger lives through an initiative of Maharashtra Government. Sachin Tendulkar and Amitabh Bachchan are to turn ‘Tiger Ambassadors’ to help in the conservation drive of endangered species. Maharashtra State Minister has written two letters separately to Sachin and Big B seeking for personal help requesting them to represent as ‘Tiger Ambassadors.’
The initiative is meant to contribute for the cause of awareness regarding protection of the endangered species as well as boosting Tiger Tourism as Maharashtra is endowed with six Tiger reserves. In the past, Amitabh Bachchan has played many roles in films attacking a tiger. For example, ‘Mr Natwarlal’ is a famous film and there is a tiger fight in it.
However, the fight here is different. From reel life to real, they two have immense stature and any appeal made by them would certainly go a long way helping the task of saving Tigers. Let us see, whether our AP and TS Governments initiate any such process to save our nature.
