True that a historic project like ‘Rudhramadevi’ needs more of time and budget. In order not to depend on other producers forcing for a lavish spending, director Gunasekhar himself turned a producer for the magnum opus starring Anushka, Rana and other artists in key leads. Versatile actor Suman was casted in a significant role in the film for which he was promised 5 Lakhs as remuneration. The same amount was offered to him as a Cheque from Guna Team Works.
Unfortunately, the cheque wasn’t honoured in the bank and it bounced due to lack of sufficient funds leaving Suman in a shock. Although Suman tried to contact the financial in-charge and producer Gunasekhar, there was nothing like a progress. All this confusion led to Suman filing a Cheque Bounce case against Gunasekhar. Now, big dilemma in film circles is... ‘Rudhramadevi’ is deep struck in financial problems with exceeded budget.
