Megastar Chiranjeevi's message oriented commercial entertainer 'Tagore' was released on 24th September,2003 and completed 10 years of its release on 24th September this year. Chiranjeevi's role of fighting against corruption in this movie had been a great inspiration to his fans then. This blockbuster movie stood as the second biggest grosser of tollywood after 'Indra' then. The movie collected a share of around Rs.30 crores then, including satellite and audio rights. The movie ran 50 days in 223 direct centers while it ran 100 days in 181 direct centers. Both these run records were all time records then.
Jyothika and Shriya paired up with Chiranjeevi in 'Tagore'. Music of the movie was scored by Manisharma. VV Vinayak directed this movie while Madhu produced it.
