Shifting of Sanjay Dutt to Yerawada prison and then producer Amit Mehra deep struck in financial and legal hurdles, as of now ‘Zanjeer’ is generating a lot of sympathy. Apparently, Bollywood sources say that it is Sanjay factor which can give good hype for all his films inclusive of ‘Policegiri’ slated for release with in this year. But, after investing Crores of rupees on many of Khal Nayak’s films, can alone this sympathy wave help the makers?
Rahul Agarwal, one of the producers of 'Policegiri’ says, ‘I do not want to play any sympathy card. It would be unfair to call Dutt’s family for promotions though we are affectionate towards them. That would be frivolous promotion and unfair on our part. In fact, Dutt wanted this film to join Rs.100 Crores club.’
First in the release list is ‘Policegiri’ striking the theatres on July 5.
