Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is a daring personality in Telugu film industry whose career is mostly dedicated to release of prestigious Tamil films dubbed into Telugu. Although faced severe losses in recent times with ‘Sakuni’ and ‘OKOK,’ he continued to believe in the stamina of Suriya and thus offered us the Telugu version of Tamil ‘Maatran’ released as ‘Brothers’ in last week.
Movie was in fact opened with divided reviews but Suriya’s star power and KV Anand’s technical brain gave some stunning openings. ‘On the first day, we have received some reports on excessive length and missing of thrill. So, we have removed nearly 28 minutes of footage and edited some episodes changing the scene order. Like ‘Rangam,’ we are happy to announce that ‘Brothers’ is also a slow poison movie which is raking nearly 94 per cent of collections,’ as said by Bellamkonda.
