>“Mahatma”, the much touted 100th movie of Srikanth is running into all kind of controversies. At least for the sake of the title, everybody believed that movie will showcase the morals of Mahatma Gandhi which lost their relevance in present age society. Unfortunately censor board has put their legs across and the release date of the movie has been postponed by one week to end up with October 9.
It is known to many that Vangapandu Prasada Rao made Allu Aravind to pay the price for using his lyric in the movie “Magadheera” without his prior notice. Now Avadurthi Laxman, a social activist has demanded apologies from Producer Manohar, Director Krishna Vamshi, Hero Srikanth, Music Director and Singers for use of his lyric in the song “Neelampoori Gaajulu…”. In case of no apologies from them, he warned of even approaching the Judiciary for getting back his privileges on the song. After censor controversy, this lyric controversy is making good publicity for “Mahatma”.
