Biker To Stream From May 1 In Netflix

Sharwanand Biker Speeds to Netflix

Charming Star Sharwanand’s Biker has been the talk of Tollywood this year, and for good reason. Marketed as India’s first motocross-based film, this high-octane sports drama roared into theatres on April 3, 2026 and won hearts with its raw racing scenes and emotional punch. Directed by Abhilash Reddy Kankara and backed by UV Creations, the film blends family drama with full-throttle action.

Sharwanand plays Vikas Narayan, a passionate motocross rider fighting to make his name while juggling family pride, expectations, and personal conflicts. Malavika Nair, Rajasekhar, and Atul Kulkarni add strong support, making the story feel real and relatable. Critics loved Sharwa’s lean new look and commitment to doing authentic racing shots. Despite mixed reviews, word of mouth pushed it past the finish line.

Ghibran’s powerful background score, J. Yuvraj’s slick cinematography, and Dhilip Subbarayan’s action choreography make every race feel like you’re on the track. Made on a budget of ₹40-50 crore, the film went big on production design and real motocross locations to keep it authentic. The makers claim the film grossed around ₹43 crore worldwide a solid win given its niche theme and modest pre-release buzz.

Now, after a strong theatrical run, Biker is shifting gears to OTT. Netflix grabbed the digital rights for a fancy price and announced that it will start streaming on May 1, 2026. The film will drop in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, with the Hindi dubbed version titled Sharwa to reach a pan-India audience. Fans who missed it in theatres are already marking their calendars.
