Ram Charan Peddi Delayed as VFX Team Spends 3 Months on Just 5 Minutes

Reason Behind Peddi Delay

Ram Charan’s Peddi won’t hit screens on April 30 as planned. The film is now pushed to June 2026 because shooting and post-production are still going on. The makers don’t want to rush it, especially with the heavy VFX work that’s taking a lot more time than expected. Fans will have to wait a bit longer, but the team is promising a big-screen experience that’s worth it.

The main reason for the delay is the detailed VFX, mainly for the wrestling and action scenes. The VFX crew shared that just 4 to 5 minutes of footage took nearly three months to finish. That shows how much detailing is going into every shot. They’re working frame by frame, and each minute has thousands of frames. The level of enhancement in each one decides how much time it takes, and Peddi clearly needs top-tier work.

Even with the postponement, the makers are clear about one thing, no compromise on quality. The action-heavy portions need to look solid, and the team is taking extra time to get the visuals right. In today’s time, audiences notice every detail, and Peddi is aiming for that high-quality finish. It’s a big film, and the makers want the output to match the hype.

Produced by Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi stars Janhvi Kapoor opposite Ram Charan, with music by A. R. Rahman. The buzz around the film hasn’t slowed down despite the delay. If anything, the news about the VFX effort has only raised expectations. June 2026 is the new target, and fans are already marking their calendars.
