Of late Indian filmmakers are taking spiritual route to score success at the box office. Many films are coming on Ramayana and Mahabharata and already Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash's Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari is hogging the limelight.
Now,National award winning director Bhavna Talwar is coming with a film titled Valmiki Ramayana. According to the latest, the makers confirmed that Music Maestro Isai Gnani Ilayaraja will be the music director for the project.
The film has renowned technicians like Resul Pookutty, Sabu Cyril and Binod Pradhan while Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and Anand Neelakantan are roped in as the creative consultants.
The film is slated for a grand release on 2 October 2026. Expectations are high and it has to be seen how the makers will live upto them. Movie lovers are also skeptical after the way the makers of Adipurush depicted Ramayana on the big screen.
