Salman Film With Vamshi Paidipally In Dil Raju Production Begins in Mumbai

Salman -Nayan Film Shoot Begins

Salman Khan and Nayanthara have begun shooting for their first film together, an action entertainer produced by Dil Raju under the SVC banner. Tentatively titled SVC 63 and directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the big-budget Pan-India film is reportedly targeting an Eid 2027 release. The shoot commenced at the SRPF Ground in Mumbai's Goregaon, with an extensive three-month schedule planned across the city.

According to reports, the makers aim to wrap the principal photography of Salman Khan Vamshi Paidipally film by August–September 2026. Anil Kapoor and Arvind Swamy are also reportedly part of the star cast, adding more weight to this massive collaboration.  While Salman Khan’s inclusion in the film was announced a few weeks ago, the makers recently unveiled Nayanthara as the leading lady. 

In the social media announcement, the team referred to the Jawan actress as “queen” and said the upcoming project is “something truly special”. “The Queen Arrives. The epitome of versatility and excellence @nayanthara joins #SalmanKhanVamshiPaidipallyFilm. It’s an honour to have you on board for something truly special that’s underway,” they wrote. Director Vamshi Paidipally, known for south blockbusters like Yevadu (2014), Oopiri (2016), Maharshi.(2019), and Varisu (2023), is helming this highly anticipated Salman Khan Nayanthara movie.

The first month-long schedule of SVC 63 will focus on key sequences between Salman Khan and Nayanthara in Mumbai, setting the tone for this action drama. With Dil Raju’s SVC backing the project, expectations are high for a grand-scale theatrical experience tailored for Eid 2027. The Salman Khan Nayanthara pairing is a first-time collaboration, and industry buzz suggests their on-screen chemistry will be a major highlight. The film’s production is being planned meticulously to meet the festival release window, making it one of the most awaited Hindi-Telugu bilinguals.
