The title of versatile actor JD Chakravarthy’s upcoming Telugu film Chetabadi has been officially revealed, and the intriguing poster is already creating a strong buzz online. Set against the eerie and mysterious backdrop of Banamathi, Chetabadi is inspired by real-life incidents and promises to be a gripping horror thriller that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
The film is jointly produced by reputed banners M3 Media and Maha Movies, presented by Maharshi Kondla, and helmed by writer-director Suryas, with Mahendra Nath Kondla as the producer. Adding major credibility to the project, Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose has come on board, while Achu Rajamani is composing the music, Mirlan Nazeer is handling cinematography, and Vamsi is the editor. The recently unveiled pre-look poster of Chetabadi has already sparked curiosity among horror and thriller fans, thanks to its dark, intense theme and JD Chakravarthy’s never-seen-before avatar.
The makers of Chetabadi shared exciting updates about his role. For the first time in his career, JD Chakravarthy will be seen playing a character with shades of both hero and villain, marking a bold and experimental shift for the seasoned actor. The team has promised that his performance in Chetabadi will be completely different from his previous films.
Even before the regular shoot begins next month, Chetabadi has achieved a major milestone, music giant Saregama has acquired the audio rights for five languages. In a unique marketing move, the Chetabadi team is adopting a fresh approach to its soundtrack release. Instead of dubbing the same song across languages, one original song will be released in Telugu, while different songs with the same visuals will be launched in other languages.
