MS Raju who is known for making huge budget films earlier 2000's and then made superhit musical love stories under the Sumanth Arts banner. He produced trendsetting films like Shatruvu, Devi, Devi Putrudu, Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham, and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana.
As a director, he maintains a distinct style with films like Dirty Hari and Malli Pelli. That vision continues with his new project Agadha. He has been working relentlessly on Agadha for the past year, focusing only on this film to ensure a fresh cinematic experience. Promotions for Agadha has started in a unique way. The team released an interesting and funny video where two thieves enter MS Raju’s office to steal. While looking at old film posters, they recall memories linked to those movies. At the end, they see one poster and get frightened, and the video stops there. That poster is the first look of Agadha, released today.
The Agadha poster shows a dark cave with a few torches glowing. Even the faint light looks frightening. A huge idol with twelve hands stands inside. Its face looks completely mystic. In front of the idol stands a girl turned away from it, wearing a very different costume. MS Raju is making Agadha as a mystical divine thriller on a grand scale under the Sri Adi Varaha Productions banner. Kasi Visalakshi Balusu is producing Agadha prestigiously.
The film is shot in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi for a pan India release. Shooting for Agadha is complete after 85 days across various sets and locations with 45 minutes of VFX part. Post production work is currently in progress. The Agadha technical team includes music by Mikkin Arul Dev, cinematography by Nani Chamidishetty, editing by Junaid Siddiqui, production design by Rajeev Nair, additional screenplay by Chaitanya Vegi, and executive producer N V N Subbaraj. MS Raju is the writer and director of Agadha.
