Akshay prank startles Wamiqa Gabbi in Bhoot Bangla. Akshay Kumar's horror thriller Bhoot Bangla directed by Priyadarshan is releasing on 16 April 2026.
The film's teaser and trailer got good response and the cast is promoting the film in a high way. The makers released a BTS video which showed Akshay doing a prank on Wamiqa Gabbi.
In the video, Wamiqa is secured with a harness and pulled onto a table where Akshay is standing. Just as she begins a dance step, Akshay suddenly pushes her away, leaving her startled despite the safety measures. The moment quickly turned into laughter on set.
Earlier at the trailer launch Akshay appeared in deliberately ragged clothes. Speaking to the media, the actor explained that the look was "done by the ghosts," tying it to the film’s horror-comedy theme.
Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and Mithila Palkar are playing important roles in the film.
