A cyber crime case has been filed against Vishnupriya Bheemineni at the Vijayawada Cyber Crime Police Station. The complaint was registered by the All India Students Federation (AISF), which alleged that she has been posting obscene and semi-nude content on her Instagram account.
According to the AISF, the content is misleading youth and could negatively impact young audiences. The student organization stated that public figures and social media influencers should follow responsible standards when sharing content online. AISF leaders claimed that Vishnupriya’s posts promote inappropriate behaviour among followers. They also raised concerns about her subscription-based content model on Instagram.
The AISF alleged that collecting money for such content may violate existing laws and called for action against the practice. AISF representatives have urged authorities to take immediate action, including blocking her Instagram account to stop further circulation of the alleged content.
The Vijayawada Cyber Crime Police have registered the case and an investigation is underway. Officials are expected to take further steps based on the investigation findings.
