Sekhar Kammula on Leader 2. Sekhar Kammula is known for his sensible and thought provoking films and he captured the imagination of all with Leader. Speaking to scribes, he said when Leader was released, the initial response was not encouraging and this disappointed him a lot.
He said at that time, he did not get the desired appreciation though he worked hard and with honesty. He said he felt that Leader was a perfect film. Even legendary Dasari Narayana Rao praised the film and said second half was top class. He said Dasari Narayana Rao predicted that the film will be a memorable one.
Sekhar Kammula added that over the years, Leader turned into a cult film. He said he did not make any statement on Leader 2 and revealed that the script work is underway and he has actors in the mind. He said Rana will play the lead role in the film and in the coming years it will turn into a reality.
