Vijay Seeks Justice for Karur Stampede And Conspiracy In Jana Nayagan Delay

Vijay Smells Conspiracy In K Stampede And JN Delay

Tamil actor-turned-politician Vijay has alleged a conspiracy to delay the release of his final film, Jana Nayagan, claiming it could have been a powerful tool in the elections. Speaking at a rally in Trichy, Vijay stated, "As many said, the conspiracy around the Karur incident and the fact that my final film Jana Nayagan could not be released...What if that film became a powerful weapon in the elections?" He emphasized his need for justice, saying, "As a brother, son, as your Vijay, I need justice".

Vijay also criticized the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) government, labeling it an "evil force" and urging voters to remove it from power in the Tamil Nadu Assembly election. He highlighted his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), priorities, focusing on education, ration distribution, healthcare, drinking water, basic amenities, and transportation.

The actor, contesting elections for the first time, said he left a life of luxury to stand with the people, emphasizing his commitment to public welfare. TVK is contesting all 234 constituencies solo in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Jana Nayagan, scheduled for a January 9 release, faced certification issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), leading to significant delays. Producers claimed potential losses exceeding ₹100 crore due to the delay. The film stars Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol.

The controversy has sparked various conspiracy theories, with some alleging the BJP's involvement in delaying the film to weaken Vijay's political momentum. Others suggest a secret alliance between the BJP and DMK to prevent Vijay from dominating the narrative.
