Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 3 has stormed the top spot on Netflix India, with all three films in the franchise trending in the Top 10. The original Mardaani (2014) is at No. 5, and Mardaani 2 (2019) is at No. 7, making it India's only successful female-led movie franchise.
Mardaani 3 has also broken records at the box office, earning over ₹51.8 crore net in India, as per Sacnilk. The film marked an impressive 50-day theatrical run, a notable achievement in today's fast-paced release landscape. It opened strongly, earning ₹4 crore on day one, setting a new benchmark for female-led films and underscoring Mukerji's enduring star power.
The film's OTT success is equally impressive, becoming the most-watched non-English film on Netflix within its first two days. As per Tudum, it got 4.4 million views and 9.5 million viewing hours, ranking No.1 in six countries. Mardaani 3 is now among the top 10 debut week viewership for a Bollywood film on Netflix between 2024 and 2026.
