Varanasi, the highly anticipated film by Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli, has created a buzz with its introductory glimpse. The film's team says what audiences saw is just a teaser, and they're in for a treat. "Be excited" for the entire film and its visual brilliance, says the crew.
DI colourist Andreas Brukal recently visited Hyderabad to work on the film's colour grading. Speaking about his experience, he said working with Rajamouli's team feels easy in terms of collaboration, but creating the content feels very tough. He revealed that he worked day and night without sleep to deliver the teaser content.
Varanasi involves a lot of VFX work, and Andreas confirmed that it was awesome to work with Rajamouli and cinematographer PS Vinod. The colourist mentioned constant changes and discussions between the team before finalizing each shot. He sounded confident while talking about the visual output of Varanasi, assuring audiences they should be prepared for an exciting ride.
The film is being shot and post-production work is happening simultaneously, a strategy that allows Rajamouli to maintain quality control throughout the filmmaking process. This approach has yielded impressive results, with the teaser receiving an overwhelming response from fans.
