SS Rajamouli's Varanasi team released a Ram Navami glimpse featuring Mahesh Babu in a Ramayana sequence, creating instant buzz across social media. The makers shared a short teaser with an epic Ramayana-inspired scene, confirming audiences will witness the film in theatres by next Sri Rama Navami.

The glimpse is part of a major narrative arc featuring Mahesh Babu in a dual role, including a 25-minute-long Ramayana sequence where he embodies Lord Ram. The sequence was shot over 60 days, highlighting its scale and importance. Varanasi is a globetrotting adventure moving across multiple locations, mixing high-stakes action with mythological undertones.

Mahesh Babu plays Rudra, a Shiva devotee connected to the Ramayana narrative. Priyanka Chopra Jonas appears as Mandakini, a skilled thief, while Prithviraj Sukumaran plays antagonist Kumbha. The film is being shot in IMAX's 1.43:1 format, promising a visually immersive experience.
