The film's strong performance can be attributed to its record-breaking premiere on March 18, which helped it amass ₹770 crore worldwide in its extended four day opening weekend. Dhurandhar 2 earned ₹150 crore domestically and ₹250 crore worldwide on its opening day, with paid previews contributing significantly to its success.
Overseas, Dhurandhar 2 has been a phenomenon, raking in over $22 million in its first weekend internationally. The film added $2 million to its overseas collections on Tuesday, bringing its total overseas collections to $27 million (approximately ₹250 crore). With a worldwide gross of ₹937 crore, Dhurandhar 2 is now the eighth Bollywood film to breach the $100 million mark.
The film's success is expected to continue, with predictions that it will cross the ₹1000 crore mark globally soon. Dhurandhar 2 has already surpassed the lifetime collections of several all time blockbusters, including Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar and Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.
