Pawan Kalyan enjoys tremendous fan following and mere mention of his name and appearance on the screen will make people throng the theatres.
Almost all his films get record openings but sustaining them over the period of time requires more than that. Filmmakers who team with Pawan Kalyan are only interested in elevating his style,swag, mannerisms and include powerful dialogues praising him and they are under the impression that this will be enough to score blockbusters.
Even Pawan Kalyan, many feel that he is obsessed with sophisticated guns and weapons and if anyone comesup with a story full of guns and weapons, he will readily give green signal without even a second thought. This is resulting in most of the films having outdated stories and silly narration except for fan moments.
One can cite numerous examples like Gudumba Shankar, Panja, Komaram Puli, Agnyaathavaasi, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG and now Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Unless the makers realise that fan moments alone will not guarantee success and come up with a decent story, more disasters will come in future.
