NTR sheds weight for Dragon. NTR is starring in a high octane action entertainer Dragon. Expectations are high on the project as it is directed by Prashant Neel who came up with intense mass action entertainers KGF and Salaar.

The film's shooting is in fullswing and NTR is going all out for his role. Buzz is he shed more than 9 kgs in just 7 days. His trainer Kumar Mannava shared “He is preparing for director Prashanth Neel’s upcoming action drama and has shed nearly 9.5 kilos of muscle in just seven weeks.”

About his fitness regime, Mannava shared  “Since the goal is to get lean, the workouts are more functional and cardio-based, with some resistance training. He trains early in the morning, with sessions ranging between 45 and 90 minutes depending on cardio or weights. Contrary to the usual protein-centric plans, he’s opted for a very low-protein diet as he needs to lose the muscle mass he has built over the years.”
