Gopichand reviving shelved project. Macho Star Gopichand has been reeling under flops and he is working relentlessly to regain his lost glory.
Currently he is busy with his upcoming project Gopichand33 which is progressing at a brisk pace under the direction of Sankalp Reddy of Ghazi fame. The film stars Ritu Varma as the female lead.
In the meantime, it is coming out that Gopichand is planning to revive his shelved project. In 2025 he announced a project with newcomer Kumar Sai but it was shelved due to financial constraints. BVSN.Prasad is bankrolling the project on his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner.
It is known that he is bankrolling Naga Chaitanya's mystic thriller Vrusha Karma. Now that the film's shooting has been wrapped, BVSN.Prasad is concentrating on the shelved project. The makers are planning to resume the shoot from April. The schedule will be for two months and it is planned in London.
The film stars Meenakshi Dinesh as the female lead. Plans are on to release the film during 2027.
