Akshay Kumar addressed Mumbai's LPG shortage during a press conference, revealing wife Twinkle Khanna has ordered two induction stoves. The actor's humorous response came while attending an event with BJP's Ameet Satam to launch BMC's cleanliness initiative, Mumbai Clean League.
Speaking to reporters, Akshay said, "My wife ordered two induction stoves. You should buy one too." When asked if the appliances arrived, he laughed, "I don't know, but my wife has ordered it". Mumbai faces LPG cylinder shortages due to global supply disruptions caused by West Asia tensions. India imports most of its LPG, and shipments via the Strait of Hormuz are reportedly affected.
