Ram Gopal Varma speaking to scribes came up with a shocker on Rajamouli's magnum opus Baahubali which created a sensation across the world.
He said with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the deft usage of its tools, one can make a film like Baahubali The Beginning with just 5 lakhs. He added that while the films like Baahubali which required the usage of CGI and VFX, AI will be useful and it will be cost effective, the same cannot be said about films like Balagam.
He said films like Balagam still requires the same amount of budget as they have to be shot in the natural and scenic locations for the realisic feel. He said big budget films cost will be reduced considerably as AI enables them to reduce the strength of the workforce.
