RGV About Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge Effect In South

D 2 to unleash Boxoffice phenomenon

Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, is creating waves in the Indian film industry with its record-breaking advance bookings. Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma predicts that the film could disrupt the dominance of South Indian cinema if it achieves massive box office numbers, potentially earning between Rs 1500 crore and Rs 2000 crore.

Varma believes the film's realistic action sequences and engaging storyline will resonate with audiences, citing the connection viewers have built with the characters from the first film. The director compares Dhurandhar 2's structure to Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, stating it will feel like a direct continuation of the first part.

With ticket prices ranging from Rs 59 to Rs 2900, Dhurandhar 2 is accessible to a wide audience. The film has already sold over 2.5 lakh tickets globally for premiere shows, with India alone accounting for Rs 13.75 crore in advance bookings. Dhurandhar 2 has shattered Bollywood records, surpassing Stree 2's premiere collection of Rs 10 crore and aiming to challenge Pawan Kalyan's OG record of Rs 30 crore. Maharashtra leads the advance bookings with over Rs 5.2 crore, followed by NCR and Karnataka.
