Sharwanand is teaming up with blockbuster maker Sampath Nandi for the pan-India period action drama Bhogi, marking a new chapter in his career. Produced by KK Radhamohan under Sri Sathya Sai Arts and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, the film promises to be one of Sharwa's most ambitious projects.
The makers recently revealed the film's powerful first-look poster, which received an overwhelming response. A special birthday poster showcases Sharwa in a strikingly intense avatar, sporting thick, messy hair and a dense beard. His raw and rebellious look is accentuated by a beedi hanging from his lips and a sweaty, textured face.
Set against the rugged North Telangana-Maharashtra border in the late 1960s, Bhogi promises a raw and intense narrative. The film's shoot is underway in a massive Hyderabad set, featuring high-octane action sequences. Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi play the female leads, supported by a talented cast.
The technical crew boasts accomplished professionals, including production designer Kiran Kumar Manne, cinematographer Kishore Kumar Arokia, and music composer Bheems Ceciroleo. Bhogi is scheduled for a pan-India release on August 28, 2026, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
