TVK Chief, actor Vijay who is facing numerous problems on political and film fronts, now got a shock on his personal front.
According to the latest, his wife filed a divorce case against him accusing him of infidelity. Sangeeta Sornalingam, and Vijay married in 1999 and now after 25 years, she filed a divorce case.
She claimed "- Petitioner discovered in 2021 that Respondent was involved in an adulterous relationship with an actress."
In her petition she mentioned , "- Respondent even after assuring to end relationship continued the adulterous relationship without remorse." These details are central to the grounds for divorce put forward by Sangeeta, as outlined under Section 27(1)(a) and 27(1)(d) of the Special Marriage Act.
The couple were blessed with children Jason Sanjay and Divya Shasha. The petition was submitted before the Chengalpattu family court, which has issued a notice directing Vijay to appear in person on April 20.
