Movie lovers cannot forget the hardhitting film, The Kerala Story directed by Sudipto Sen which starred Sharma, Siddhi Idnani, Yogita Bihani and Sonia Balani in the lead roles in 2023.Now the makers are coming up with the sequel to the film and it is named The Kerala Story 2.
Already the film's teaser got good response and today they released the trailer. The trailer expanded the film's horizons and it crossed the borders and touched the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Kerala. It highlighted how innocent girls were exploited in the name of love and conversion of Hindu girls.
The makers described the film's intent with a statement: "They targeted our daughters. They broke their trust. They stole their futures. This time, we do not stay silent. The story goes beyond. Is bar sahenge nahi... ladenge (sic)." The trailer opened with the warning that if one doesn't fight India will become an Islamic State in the next 25 years.
The film is directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh and it stars Aditi Bhatia, Ulka Gupta, and Aishwarya Ojha in the lead roles. Vipul Amrutlal Shah under Sunshine Pictures banner is producing the film which is releasing on 27 Feb 2026.
