Renowned director Ramesh Varma's latest project, Kokkoroko, has completed shooting and is set to release as a summer special in 2026. The film is an anthology, featuring five distinct characters, and marks the directorial debut of Srinivas Vasanthala. Manaswini Balabommala, a talented young actress, makes a special appearance in the film, bringing her experience in music, dance, and stage acting to the table.
The film's Valentine's Day poster has already generated buzz, featuring Thrish and Preeti Neha in a pond where Thrish playing as Sreenu giving bunch of lotuses to Parvathi as Preeti reflecting the valentine's day mood.
Kokkoroko boasts a strong technical crew, with GV Sagar, son of veteran screenwriter G. Satyamurthy and brother of music director Devi Sri Prasad, writing the dialogues. The film's cinematography is handled by Akash R Joshi, while London-based music director Sankeerthan composes the music. Rekha Varma and Kurapati Sirisha produce the film, with Ramesh Varma crafting the story and screenplay.
