Vijay Sethupathi clarifies on Ramayana.Over the last few days, rumours have been thick and fast that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is playing the role of Vibhishana in the prestigious project Ramayana.
This excited all the fans and movie lovers alike as Vijay Sethupathi is known for his impactful performances. However, Vijay Sethupathi clarified and said “No, I am not part of this project. I have no clue where this is coming from.”
The film Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in the roles of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey will play the roles of Hanuman and Laxman respectively.
On the other hand, Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen as Mandodri and Surpanakha. Arun Govil, Kunal Kapoor, Adinath Kothare, Sheeba Chaddha and Indira Krishnan are playing key roles.
The film is releasing in two parts and the first part will be releasing on Diwali 2026 and second part on Diwali 2027.
