Kavya Kalyanram, who rose to prominence with Balagam, teams up with Kotha Poradu fame Anvesh Michael for one of the most pleasant love stories of the year- “What’s Up Naresh.” Written and directed by CV Vishal and produced by Bhagya Laxmi Chinta under the CVV Cinema banner, the makers kick-started the film’s promotions with the unveiling of its first look and first glimpse.
The very title, “What’s Up Naresh,” sparks instant curiosity. The first-look poster exudes a warm, breezy, feel-good charm. Anvesh Michael, as Naresh, looks rooted and effortlessly endearing, while Kavya Kalyanram appears calm, cheerful as Sarika, and radiates a subtle emotional depth. Their expressions hint at a heartfelt slice-of-life romance at its core.
The first glimpse opens on a humorous yet grounded note, with the parents’ discussing marriage and dowry. The father reveals that the girl’s family is willing to offer 80 lakh but want the wedding after summer.
