Manchu Vishnu who is on the forefront of engouraging new talent, sometime back announced AVAA International Short Film Contest to revolutionalise the World of Cinema.
According to the latest, the contest got tremendous response with 3,000 Entries, 100 Finalists. The contest will start with Siva Balaji as the host on 19 February.
The organisers shared "The contest’s promo has sparked a wave of excitement, receiving over 11,000 inquiries and more than 3,000 entries from talented filmmakers worldwide. After a rigorous selection process, we are excited to announce that the top 100 short films have been chosen and will be showcased on the AVAA Entertainment YouTube channel. The show begins on February 19th with Siva Balaji as the host."
They continued"Out of these top 100 films, the competition will intensify as we select the top 15, who will then advance to the next phase of the contest. The grand finale will be held at Mohan Babu University, Tirupati, featuring exciting, edge-of-the-seat challenges and a larger-than-life celebration of cinema.The winner, who will be announced on March 19th, will have the incredible opportunity to direct a feature film with a budget of 10 crores under the prestigious AVAA Entertainment banner."
