The teaser for Maremma, a rustic action drama film, has been unveiled, showcasing a raw and intense story set in rural Telangana. Maadhav, son of actor Raghu and nephew of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, makes his debut as a lead actor in this film, which marks the directorial debut of Manchala Nagaraj.
The film's story is inspired by real events that took place in Telangana, with the villagers praying to the village deity, Maremma Thalli, for relief from a mysterious outbreak. The protagonist, played by Maadhav, is the guardian of the sacred bull belonging to the goddess, which goes missing, leading to a gripping narrative. Deepa Balu plays the female lead, while senior actor Vinod Kumar makes a solid impact as the village head.
The cinematography by Prasanth Ankireddy captures the rural atmosphere with striking realism, and the music by Prashanth R Vihari heightens the tension. The teaser has raised expectations for the film, with the makers announcing that Maremma will hit theaters soon.
