Rajamouli clarifies on Varanasi sequel rumours. Mahesh Babu-Rajamouli's project Varanasi has been the cynosure of all eyes. Over the recent past rumours spread that the film would be releasing in two parts and the first part will be titled Varanasi-Gobletrotter and the second part will be titled Varanasi-Timetrotter.
In the midst of all this, Rajamouli speaking to scribes, shared his thoughts on Varanasi sequel. Rajamouli made clear that the film would be a single entity and will have the duration of over three hours.
A leading distributor also says “Rajamouli probably felt that stretching the narrative purely for franchise-building would not serve the story,” He continued, “The ace filmmaker believes every story has its own limitations and should not be expanded unnecessarily for commercial reasons.”
