The prestigious Padma awards were announced couple of minutes back.
Well known Telugu actor, politician Murali Mohan, actor Rajendra Prasad was conferrred with Padma Sri awards. In total 131 people were conferred and they include five Padma Vibhushan, 13 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri awards.
The awardees include 19 women, 6 foreign nationals or persons of Indian origin, and 16 posthumous honours.
