Mahesh Babu's Varanasi directed by Rajamouli is the most sought after film across the globe. Expectations are soaring as Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are coming together for the first time in their career and also the film happens to be Rajamouli's first after the sensation he created across the world with RRR.
The film is progressing at a brisk pace and in the meantime rumours spread over the film's release. It is known that the makers locked 9 April 2027 as the release date and it is the auspicious occasion of Sri Rama Navami. Speculation is on that the makers are planning to come with a glimpse on 26 March 2026 as Sri Rama Navami special.
In the midst of all this, rumours spread that the film release may be postponed. But the makers rubbished all the rumours and released a new video confirming the same release date. The film's shoot is in fullswing and it stars Priyanka Chopra as the female lead and Prithviraj Sukumaran and Prakash Raj in key roles.
