Will Sankranti releases pass the litmus test?. Sankranti 2026 gave ample treat to Tollywood movie lovers with top and young stars coming to entertain all with their films. With different genre films releasing during Sankranti, fans are extremely delighted.
Sankranti celebrations started one week earlier with Prabhas coming to entertain with his first ever horror thriller The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi. He romanced three hot beauties Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar as the female leads.
Then Chiranjeevi took the lead and came up with his Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu directed by Anil Ravipudi. Expectations soared as the Chiranjeevi decided to do a full length hilarious entertainer after a longtime. The film had Nayanthara as the female lead with Venkatesh playing a powerful cameo.
Then Ravi Teja came to entertain viewers with Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi. The film featured Ravi Teja romancing Ashika Ranganath and Sakshi Vaidya as the female leads under the direction of Kishore Tirumala. Naveen Polishetty decied to enter the fray with Anaganaga Oka Raju directed by Maari with Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead.
Sharwanand came to entertain with Nari Nari Naduma Murari with Samyukta and Sakshi Vaidya playing the female leads under the direction of Ram Abbaraju.
The Raja Saab despite record openings failed miserably and turned out to be a disaster. Chiranheevi's Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is going greatguns at the box office breaking all records. Ravi Teja's Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi though decent failed to get collections as Ravi Teja's previous films failed at the box office.
Naveen Polishetty's Anaganaga Oka Raju is entertaining masses while Sharwanand's Nari Nari Naduma Murari is doing good with the word of mouth though his previous films failure impacted the collections. Now all eyes are on how these films perform as the festival is over and the litmus test starts from now.
