Karthi's latest film Vaa Vaathiyaar has hit theaters, but it's facing a major setback. Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, Vaa Vaathiyaar features a talented cast, including Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, and Karunakaran. Despite this, the film hasn't picked up pace, even during the festival season. It's uncertain if the film will release in Telugu as Annagaru Vostaaru.
The current trend suggests Vaa Vaathiyaar might struggle to register strong box office numbers, making it a disappointing venture for Karthi. The movie's story, about a passionate MGR devotee raising his grandson as the superstar's reincarnation, hasn't resonated with audiences.
