Star director on his son scam

Teja reacts on his son scam case. It is coming out that star director Teja's son Amitov got duped of Rs 72 lakh. Two stockborkers from Motinagar, Hyderabad cheated Amitov by fabricating the profits and also  reneging on a compensation deal involving a flat.

Amitov approached Jubilee Hills police station and lodged a complaint. Following this, the cops registed a case and arrested two accused. According to the complaint, the stockbrokers, Y Anusha (35) and her husband K Praneeth (34), met Amitov Teja in April 2025, promising guaranteed high returns on stock trading through them. Trusting their claim of risk-free profits, Amitov invested money into stock trading through the duo.

According to the complainant, the couple conducted high-risk trades that resulted in a loss of Rs 63.15 lakh. However, the duo sent him forged statements showing gains and also collected Rs 9 lakh as commission.

Jubilee Hils SI K Somasekhar Goud said"Amitov Teja then approached a local court and the court has referred the complaint to the police for investigation. On the directions of the XVII additional chief metropolitan magistrate, Nampally, we have registered a case against the couple under Sections 316 (criminal breach of trust), 336 (forgery), 351 (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,"

A source shares “Amitov used his own funds and did not invest a single rupee from his father’s money,” Currently Amitov is taking training in acting under his father's guidance. Teja says “I don’t want to talk about the case since it is sub judice and also a six-month-old matter.”

Teja is planning a supernatural thriller with Amitov. He says “He has ease in acting and looks promising. I am satisfied with his performance over the last 10 days of the shoot. He is playing an underdog-type role,” Mahesh Babu's niece Bharati will be the female lead. He says . “Bharati’s role will also be exciting, and both of them are looking good on screen,”

He concluded “I want to have 100 percent Telugu actors and break the fading tradition of casting artists from other languages,”
