Shows Slashed for The Raja Saab and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi

TRS And BMW Are Getting Replaced

The Sankranthi 2026 box office is witnessing a significant shift in show counts, with Prabhas' The Raja Saab and Ravi Teja's Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi facing a reduction in shows across the Telugu states. This comes as no surprise, given the intense competition among the five films released during the festive period.

Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has emerged as the clear winner, with audiences flocking to theaters to watch the film. Anaganaga Oka Raju and Nari Nari Naduma Murari are following closely, with higher demand and additional shows being added. In contrast, The Raja Saab and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi are struggling to attract audiences, leading to a continuous reduction in shows.

According to data from ticket booking platforms, the show count for January 16 stands as follows: Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (2,298 shows), Anaganaga Oka Raju (1,153 shows), Nari Nari Naduma Murari (594 shows), The Raja Saab (926 shows), and Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi (530 shows). Notably, The Raja Saab lost around 100 shows, while Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi saw a reduction of over 40 shows from January 15 to 16.

The shows have largely been reassigned to the top three films, which are enjoying better audience demand. With the festive period in full swing, it's clear that audiences are favoring films with strong word-of-mouth and engaging content.
