The team behind Yash's highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has revealed Rukmini Vasanth as Mellisa, continuing the character-driven rollout that has positioned the production as one of 2026's most anticipated releases. The poster introduces Vasanth's character within a 1960s party atmosphere, capturing Mellisa moving through festive surroundings with focused determination.

Toxic:  A Fairytale for Grown-Ups marks Vasanth's striking collaboration with Yash under the distinctive cinematic gaze of Geetu Mohandas. Known for her intelligence driven performances and emotional depth, Rukmini's introduction signals a performance that finds space within Geetu's layered, atmospheric storytelling, and Yash's ambition to make an Indian film that matches global standards in scale and offers a universal resonance in its storytelling.

Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups boasts an impressive cast, including Kiara Advani as Nadia, Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth, Nayanthara as Ganga, and Tara Sutaria as Rebecca. The film features cinematography by National Award winner Rajeev Ravi, music by Ravi Basrur, editing by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design by TP Abid. High-octane action sequences have been choreographed by Hollywood action director JJ Perry alongside National Award winning duo Anbariv and Kecha Khamphakdee.

The film is being filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages, underscoring its global ambition.
