Prabhas' The Raja Saab directed by Maruthi is releasing on 9 Jan 2026. The film's pre release event is celebrated today at Kaithalapur grounds, Hyderabad.
This came as a surprise and the makers and the event organisers shared the reason behind the venue. They posted "Here are the reasons to choose #KaithlapurGrounds After evaluating every major venue in Hyderabad, Kaithalapur Grounds was finalized as the safest and most feasible option with permission for only 8,000 attendees, considering security protocols, venue availability, and public safety."
Following the surge of crowd and the organisers unable to control them and the subsequent consequences in the recent events, the makers decided to take these precautions.
The Raja Saab stars Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Nidhhi Agerwal as the female leads with Thaman tuning the music. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, and VTV Ganesh in important roles. The film is produced on People Media Factory banner.
