Rajinikanth, Soundarya, Ramya Krishnan's Padayappa directed by KS.Ravi Kumar re released bringing back the nostalgic memories.
Ramya Krishnan played a powerful role of Neelambari in the film. According to the latest, Ramya Krishnan watched the film for the first time in theatres. Sharing her feelings she posted "Finally watched PADAYAPPA in the theatre for first time (sic)."
Ramya Krishnan shared clippings of her watching the iconic swing scene and capturing the moment on her phone inside the theatre. She was all smiles as she recorded the scene and the audience's response.
The second clip shows her response and the audience hooting and whistling for her and Rajinikanth.
Earlier Ramya Krishnan shared "It became a dream role only after it got released and received audience reactions. Before that, I don't think any other mainstream heroine would have the courage to do it. I did it because I had no way out and wanted to act in at least one film with him (Rajinikanth). Luckily, it worked out for me."
She continued, "I never played Neelambari, thinking it would be my dream role. I was scared, and many junior artistes would scare me about the dialogues, some even asked if I would survive in Chennai."
