People Media Factory Apologies To Censor Board Over Mowgli Issue

Controversy Surrounds Mowgli

People Media Factory, a leading production house in the Telugu film industry, has issued an apology to the Censor Board following controversial remarks made by actor Bandi Saroj Kumar at a pre-release event. The film, Mowgli, starring Roshan Kanakala and Sakshi Madholkar, hits theaters on December 13, a day after Akhanda 2.

In his comments, Saroj reportedly said a Censor Board member was "frightened" by his portrayal of a ruthless cop, sparking debate on social media. People Media Factory clarified that the remarks were unintentional and didn’t intend to disrespect the board, emphasizing their respect for the Censor Board’s integrity and guidance.

The production house has apologized, promising to retract the statement and remove related footage from all media. Mowgli, a forest-themed romantic drama, was initially set for December 12 but was postponed due to the clash with Akhanda 2.
